The story of the film was written by Salman himself and is an Eros International Media Ltd presentation and Vijay Galani Moviez production.

Jade Goody begged for mercy killing after cancer diagnosis
February 24, 2009
Former Big Brother star Jade Goody, who also recently participated in Indian version of Big Brother, has begged for mercy killing after the doctors told her that her cervical cancer had become terminal and she has only few weeks to live.
Goody who shot to limelight with reality show Big Brother had to left the Indian show midway on being diagnosed with cancer. Earlier, doctors told her that she may survive the battle against cancer but now it has been told that her disease is terminal.
The 27-year-old TV star has sold the story of her battle against cancer to television and lifestyle magazines to ensure a better life for her two sons.
The controversial star, who married on and off boyfriend Jack Tweed in a lavish ceremony on Sunday, reportedly sold the exclusive coverage rights to a lifestyle magazine for USD 1 million dollars.
Tweed, 21, had proposed Goody on the eve of Valentine’s day after the star was told the cancer had spread to major organs and could not be treated.
The dying actress was recently criticized when she announced that she may allow her death to be captured on camera.
Goody’s publicist Max Clifford said that Goody now wants to christen her sons so that they can keep “in touch” with her after she dies.
Arbaaz Malaika split story a publicity stunt
April 20, 2008
Mumbai: Contrary to rumours, the marriage of Arbaaz and Malaika Arora Khan is going strong and the split story is a publicity stunt for a skin product launch.
“It’s a publicity gimmick. The split rumors are from a skin cream advertisement, which Malaika and Arbaaz will endorse together”, sources close to the couple said.
Describing the concept of the ad, the sources said, “The ad will show how the love has gone from their marriage and how they renew it again with the skin cream. They will have four phases and weddings, where Arbaaz and Malaika will renew their marriage vows.”
According to other reports, it’s not the cream but a gimmick to promote the couple’s upcoming Kannada flick Shaadi Ke After Effects, which is about marriage and infidelity, sees Malaika in a lead role.
While, Arbaaz and Malaika were ‘very upset and disturbed’ about the rumours of their split, a grapevine hinted that Arbaaz wanted to remarry!
When asked about the divorce on a television news channel, the couple reportedly neither confirmed nor refuted the news. While Malika could not be contacted for comments, Arbaaz didn’t deny the rumours, which include his desire to remarry.
“I am not going to discuss my personal life right now. You will get to know everything in due course”, he said to the television channel.
Publicity is the new trend and the couple’s golden sheen seems to be fading. With over a Rs 100 crore invested in the film, Malaika and Arbaaz have to do whatever they can to grab eyeballs. Who knows a surreal affair or divorce can sometimes create that market buzz. If Priyanka and Sreesanth can leak so called secret conversations to the media for a soap brand, this is just the beginning.
